Too often, the improv “rules” get in the way of enjoying ourselves on stage.  “Don’t” becomes “can’t” and it kills the fun!  In this workshop, Dave Hill and Matt Jones (“Hill Jones”) will tag-team teach the principles that guide them in their work together to get you past the rules and back into the driver’s seat of your own improv!

Instructors:
Matt Jones has been performing improv and sketch comedy since the age of 17 starting in Los Angeles, then all over the world including the famous BOOM! Chicago theatre in Amsterdam.  He can be seen as ‘Badger’ on BREAKING BAD and numerous tv shows and movies for the past 20 years. Jones has also voiced animated characters for many tv shows and movies as well. His real love has always been and will always be performing and teaching improv anywhere people will watch and listen.
 
Dave Hill is an actor, improviser, writer and producer living in LA.  He has been seen in multiple tv appearances including MODERN FAMILY and the short-lived but wonderful NBC sitcom GREAT NEWS.  His voice has been heard on such animated series as AMERICAN DAD, AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE and SQUIDBILLIES.   He co-wrote, co-directed and co-starred in the feature film THE NIGHT IS YOUNG (now available on Peacock, Amazon and other streamers).  He has died hundreds of different ways while doing voices for video games.  Hundreds.
