JOYWRECK recently completed its first feature-length, self-funded, micro-budget film, A Colorado Road Trip, featuring several Rise improvisers who play at Rise. Joywreck will screen A Colorado Road Trip before hosting a festival-style panel with the writer/director, Don Markus, and actors/improvisers, Wolfgang Stein, Asa Erlendson, and Vanessa Anton. The panel will discuss the intersection between improv and narrative filmmaking and answer questions from the audience.
Film synopsis: A Colorado couple invites a lovable oaf on a remote Rockies camping trip, causing tensions to boil over when nothing goes as planned. The chaotic getaway forces the trio to confront deeper, more profound questions about life and how to forge their own paths forward.

- If you are more than 15 minutes late to your show, your ticket will be released and there will be no refund. (We can always try to get you into the next show if there is room)
